​Planning Approvals was established 2002. Our team have a broad knowledge of the NSW Planning System.

We have guided builders, architects, building designers, engineers, property investors, home owners, businesses, banks, schools, child care centres, retirement villages and many other cross sections of the community over the years to development consent stage.

Did you know that construction development must meet energy efficiency standards in all Australian States and Territories at the planning assessment stage ? Each State and Territory have their own regulations and our accredited Energy Assessors are able to provide certification for any location within Australia.

The NSW Planning System can be complicated. Why do all Council (technically known as Local Government Areas) planning regulations differ from each other? When could you utilise a State Government Environmental Planning Instrument? Is there any flexibility with planning controls and standards? What's the difference between a Development Application and Complying Development? How does a Principal Certifier fit into the scheme? We have the answers to all these questions and will guide you through the jargon.
